More information about this wine:
This wine is rare. Though indigenous from Fronton area, Bouysselet (grape) had nearly vanished. Only 60 plants of Bouysselet had survived the 1879 phyloxera epidemic that wiped out most of European vineyards. They were on the brink of extinction when Diane and Philippe discovered them in a forgotten garden. They saw the potential of this local grape, for the making of a white wine, in an area only known for producing red and rosé wines. Philippe skillfully over grafted younger vine trunks with Bouysselet and in 2011 this beautiful wine was reborn from oblivion.
