Please read the Shipping and Returns policy carefully before you use the Site. By accepting the shipping and returns, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. Welcome to the Site of Finewine.ie, operated by Gael Jauvert Fine Wines Ltd T/A Finewine.ie (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “FineWine”).
By purchasing wines on our website you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these shipping and returns conditions.
By accessing to Finewine.ie, you agree to abide and be bound by the terms described herein.
If you do not want to agree to these policies, you must not access or use the Site.
Eligibility:
This Site is for users who are 18 years of age or older. By agreeing to the Terms and conditions, you warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the Company and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Site. Items will not be shipped to persons who do not meet these requirements. False usage of this website by persons aged under 18 is not acceptable. If you are using the Site on behalf of any entity, you further represent and warrant that you are authorised to accept these Terms of Use on such entity’s behalf.
Shipping:
Our listed prices include shipping fees and VAT unless otherwise stated. All orders placed on our website are subject to availability. Products will be shipped according to our Site shipping terms.
Shipping Rates:
Our shipping rates are a set flat rate per box of wine. This rate is outlined below. Each box contains 3 bottles of wine.
Rate as of June 2025 = €8 per box (3 bottles per box)

Shipping Duration / Times:
Orders placed before 1pm will be shipped the next day, delivery times vary based on location but typically are between 1 and 3 days. When you place an order we process it within 24 hours. Please be aware that on special occasions, public holidays and seasonal holidays e.g. Christmas orders can take longer to deliver. You will recieve an email when we process your order for shipping and then the shipping company will email you within 24 hours to notify you of the shipping status. Loss of Goods:
Our ‘Picking & Shipping’ delivery company is responsible for the delivery of all goods ordered. Please track your order online with the tracking number provided and follow up with them regarding delays or failure of delivery. All of this information will be sent to you by email once you have ordered.
Return / Refund Policy:
All sales made on our Site are considered final. The Company has a return policy in line with distance selling laws, if there is a problem or defect with any product delivered by Finewine.ie we will do our utmost to rectify the problem.
